Model Parameters

The FY series of chemical submersible pumps are vertical, single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pumps. They are designed for the transportation of corrosive liquids that do not contain solid particles or are not prone to crystallization. The temperature range of the transported medium is –20°C to 150°C, and it can be extended to –50°C to150°C if special requirements are needed. The working part of the submersible pump is submerged in the liquid, and there is no leakage at the shaft seal. Additionally, it has the advantages of small footprint, reliable operation, ease of maintenance, and strong corrosion resistance. It is widely used in industries such as chemicals and petroleum.

Installation dimensions

The FY type submersible pump is primarily composed of the pump body, pump cover, impeller and shaft, elastic coupling pipe flange, guide bearings, intermediate connection pipe, discharge pipe, bearing frame, base plate, and motor frame. The pump’s suction inlet is aligned along the axis, and the outlet is parallel to the axis. The direction of the pump’s rotation can be observed from the suction inlet towards the motor end; it rotates in a clockwise direction. The vertical motor of the FY type pump is secured with bolts to the motor bracket, and it is directly driven by the pump through an elastic coupling. The pump body, intermediate connection pipe, pump frame, discharge pipe, and pipe flange are all connected together by bolts and fixed to the base plate. The entire pump is mounted on the container through the base plate. Except for other major components such as the motor bracket and base plate, which are all made of cast iron, the FY type pump consists of these main parts.

The axial and radial forces on the pump’s shaft (including the water pressure generated during operation, the weight of the impeller and rotor, etc.) are all lubricated by bearings with grease. The guide bearings are lubricated by the fluid being conveyed. Therefore, the liquid level must be higher than the centerline of the impeller during operation.

The FY type pump employs soft packing seals as the primary sealing method, and applies grease to the packing ring to ensure proper functioning of the packing and prolong its lifespan.

A suitable amount of molybdenum disulfide should be added to the butter.

In addition, the FY series of corrosion-resistant liquid meter centrifugal pumps are divided into two categories based on the different lengths of the insertion into the container (L): those with intermediate guide bearings and those without intermediate guide bearings.
