This series of pumps are single-stage, single-suction, cantilevered centrifugal pumps. The flow-through components are made of steel-reinforced ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). This material is currently the latest generation of corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant engineering plastics used in pumps worldwide. Its most notable advantages are its exceptional corrosion resistance, impact resistance (especially low-temperature impact), creep resistance (resistance to environmental stress cracking), and excellent corrosion resistance compared to all other plastics.

A key feature of this pump is its versatility: one pump can be adapted to various different operating conditions, such as transporting acidic or basic clear liquids or slurries, various corrosive mineral slurries used in the metallurgical industry; various dilute acids in the sulfuric acid industry; and various types of wastewater in the environmental protection industry.

This pump is both corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant, making it highly versatile. It has been extensively used in the processing of acid-base slurries and dilute acids at facilities such as the Guixi Metallurgical Plant in Jiangxi, the Baiyin Company in Gansu, and the Huludao Zinc Plant in Liaoning, among over thirty large-scale metal smelting and sulfuric acid enterprises. Its corrosion and wear resistance, sealing reliability, and service life have all received extremely positive evaluations.

(一) A brief overview of the main technical aspects.

1. Model: UHB-ZK Series

2. Features: Corrosion- and abrasion-resistant; one pump can be used for multiple purposes; suitable for both acidic and basic clear liquid slurries.

3. Structure: (1) The pump body is made of steel reinforced with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. The thickness of the reinforcement layer ranges from 8 to 20 mm.

(2) There are two types of impellers: split and closed. They can be chosen based on the conditions of the medium.

(3) Sealing: K-type dynamic seal.

4. Applicable media: sulfuric acid with a concentration below 80%, nitric acid with a concentration below 50%, various concentrations of hydrochloric acid and caustic soda. It can be used for both clear liquids and solutions.

5. Key technical specifications: Operating temperature range –20°C to 80°C (special requirements allow use of modified materials up to 105°C). For imports, sizes range from 32 mm to 0250 mm, flow rate 5 to 600 m³/h, head up to 50 meters.

(二) Extremely broad range of applications.

1. Sulfuric acid phosphorus fertilizer industry: transportation of dilute acids, mother liquors, wastewater, seawater, fluorosilicic acid containing silica, and phosphoric acid slurry/paste media.

2. Non-ferrous metal smelting industry: Specifically designed for various acid solutions used in the wet processing of lead, zinc, gold, silver, copper, manganese, cobalt, rare earth elements, corrosive mineral slurries, pulp (used with filter presses), electrolyte solutions, and wastewater for medium transportation.

3. Chemical and other industries: positions involving various types of clear liquids or slurries, such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, alkaline substances, and oils.

4. Chlor-alkali industry: hydrochloric acid, caustic soda, electrolyte solutions, and so on.

5. Water Treatment Industry: Purified water, high-purity water, wastewater (leather wastewater, electroplating wastewater, electronic wastewater, papermaking wastewater, textile wastewater, food wastewater, domestic wastewater, pharmaceutical wastewater, etc.).

6. Iron and steel enterprises: sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid systems in the acid-washing process, wastewater containing impurities.

7. Equipped with a wet scrubber for desulfurization and dust removal, it can be used simultaneously for alkaline, acidic, and corrosive environments.
