The ZW series self-priming, non-obstructive sewage pump is a novel product that has been successfully developed based on repeated research of similar technologies both domestically and internationally.

This pump combines self-suction and non-blockage sewage removal into one unit. It employs axial recirculation external mixing technology and features a unique design of the pump casing and impeller flow channels, allowing it to function similarly to a typical self-suction pure water pump without the need for a bottom valve and water injection, while also capable of suctioning and discharging liquids containing large solid particles and long fiber impurities. It is an ideal impurity pump for municipal sewage disposal projects, pond farming, light industry, papermaking, textiles, food processing, chemicals, electricity, fibers, pulp, and mixed suspensions, among other chemical media.

Compared to similar domestic products, this pump boasts features such as simple structure, excellent self-suction capability, strong wastewater discharge capacity, high efficiency, and energy efficiency, as well as ease of use and maintenance. It is the first of its kind in China within the wastewater discharge pump product series. It ranks among the top in terms of various technical performance indicators and has reached an international advanced level, offering a broad market for application and promising future development.

Scope of Use

1. Ambient temperature ≤ 50°C, medium temperature ≤ 80°C, special requirements can reach 200°C.

2. The PH value of the medium: cast iron is 6-9, and stainless steel is 2-13.

3. The density of the medium shall not exceed 1,240 kg/m.

4. The self-suction height should not exceed the specified range of 4.5 to 5.5 meters. It is advisable to have the total length of the suction pipe no more than 10 meters.

5. The diameter of the suspended particles capable of passing through the pump is 60% of the pump’s diameter, and the length of the fibers is 5 times the diameter of the pump.

Structure explaination

The ZW series self-priming non-clogging sewage pump mainly consists of the pump body, impeller, rear cover, mechanical seal, pump shaft, bearing housing, inlet valve, gas-liquid separation pipe, water addition valve, inlet and outlet pipes, etc. The structure of the pump is shown in the figure.

The working principle of the pump: There is a liquid storage void inside the pump and is communicated with the pump working cavity through the reflow hole above and the circulator hole below, which constitutes the axial forward reflow extemal mixed system of the pump. After the pump stops working. a certain volume of liquid is stored in the inner cavity of the pump. When the pump is started, the storage fluid inside the pump is flushed upward with air under the action of the rotor, and the liquid flows back to the working compartment through the grid of the gas-liquid separator. The gas is expelled outside the pump, so that a certain vacuum degree is formed inside the pump and the effect of self-suction is achieved.

At the second operation, the pump suction entrance is equipped with a single-directional stop valve, so it can be started without additional storage water.
